Dr. Zainab Al-Ibraheemi is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology and in the maternal-fetal medicine. She earned her medical doctorate from the University of Baghdad College of Medicine and completed her obstetrics and gynecology residency at Texas Tech University. While at Texas Tech, she was the recipient of a substantial number of awards for her scholarship. She received training in maternal-fetal medicine at Mount Sinai West, graduating in 2017.

She has participated in or led research on a broad scope of topics across the field of high-risk pregnancy. One of her main interests is the prediction and prevention of preterm birth. She has also studied methods of inducing labor and cervical ripening.

Dr. Al-Ibraheemi is a junior fellow in the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and a member of the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine, the Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine, and the American Association for Gynecologic Laparoscopy.
